Terms of use

Last updated:

What you can do with Future Agent, what your agents do on your behalf, and who is responsible for what.

This English version is provided for your convenience. If it differs from the French version, the French version prevails, to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you.

1. Purpose

These terms of use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Future Agent service, available at futureagent.app and on WhatsApp, and published by Ghost World Society ("we"). They apply to anyone who uses it ("you").

Future Agent lets you describe a task in a conversation. An AI architect then designs an agent that automates it: it asks you questions, offers to connect your tools, shows you a sample result and quotes a monthly price. Once launched, the agent runs on a schedule, when another agent finishes or on request. Project agents build and host a deliverable, such as a website.

Financial terms (prices, payment, cancellation, withdrawal) are set out in the terms of sale. How your data is used is described in the privacy policy.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

By using the service, you accept the Terms in force. By creating an account or launching an agent, you confirm that you have read them. If you act on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind it. The service is intended for people aged 18 or over; a person aged 15 to 17 may use it only with the consent of their legal guardians and may not take out a subscription.

3. Access to the service and your account

Anonymous session

You can describe a task, answer the architect's questions, connect tools and see a sample without creating an account. An anonymous session is then opened in your browser; it is tied to that browser and disappears if you clear its cookies.

Account

An account is required to launch an agent. You create it with an email address and a password, or with Google. The conversations, agents, connections and files from your anonymous session are then attached to the account. You provide accurate information and keep your password confidential: any action taken from your account is deemed to be taken by you. Tell us without delay about any unauthorized access.

WhatsApp

You can also use the service by messaging +33 7 56 81 76 53 on WhatsApp. Your first message creates an account linked to your number; you can link it to a web account with the code shown in your dashboard. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages from Future Agent, and START to resume them.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service, or have an agent act, in order to:

  • carry out any unlawful or fraudulent activity, or infringe the rights of others (privacy, image rights, intellectual property, confidentiality of correspondence);
  • send unsolicited bulk messages (spam), including by email, SMS, WhatsApp or social media, or prospect people without a legal basis;
  • collect personal data in breach of the GDPR or of the terms of the website concerned;
  • produce or distribute hateful, violent, child sexual abuse, defamatory or misleading content, or impersonate another person;
  • circumvent the limits of the service (quotas, daily limits, run caps), test its security without permission or disrupt its operation;
  • resell the service or make it available to third parties as if it were your own, without written agreement;
  • make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on a person (hiring, credit, health) without human review.

Connected services

When an agent acts in an app you have connected (Gmail, Slack, a CRM…), it does so on your behalf. You comply with the terms of use of those services and remain responsible for the actions carried out with your access.

Messages sent to third parties

An agent can send emails or messages to other people. You choose the recipients, the content and the frequency, and you alone are responsible for these messages: consent where required, sender identification, and a way to unsubscribe. Agents cannot send cold direct messages on Instagram; they prepare drafts for you to approve.

WhatsApp and Meta

On WhatsApp, you comply with the WhatsApp Terms of Service and the WhatsApp Business Commerce Policy. The Future Agent number is used only to communicate with you. If an agent sends WhatsApp messages to third parties from an account you have connected, Meta's rules (recipients' prior opt-in, approved message templates) apply, under your responsibility.

5. AI agents and generated results

Agents use artificial intelligence models. Their answers, research, reports, files and websites are generated automatically: they may contain errors, omissions, or outdated or inaccurate information, even when they appear confident.

  • Check every result before you use, publish or send it, especially figures, dates, quotes and contact details.
  • Agents do not provide legal, medical, tax, accounting or financial advice. For these matters, consult a qualified professional.
  • The sample shown during design illustrates the kind of deliverable to expect; it does not guarantee the content of later runs.
  • We do not promise any business outcome (sales, meetings, audience, search rankings).

An agent never buys anything (domain name, payment) without your explicit confirmation and a price shown in advance. Run limits protect the service: an agent that reaches them may be slowed down or put on hold until the next period, at no extra cost.

6. Connectors and third-party services

Connections to third-party apps go through each service's authorization flow (OAuth) or an API key that you provide. You can remove a connection at any time from Future Agent or from the service concerned.

These services are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, their API changes or their decisions (suspension of your account with them, usage limits). A connector may stop working if the third-party service changes its access; we then do our best to offer an alternative.

7. Your content and your data

You remain the owner of what you entrust to us (messages, context files, table data, content from connected services) and of the deliverables your agents produce for you, subject to third-party rights. You grant us only the right to host, process and transmit them to the technical providers we need, for the sole purpose of running the service for you.

You warrant that you hold the rights to the content you provide and to the content your agents publish (texts, images, logos on a website). An agent's memory and your account's shared memory are never visible to another account. We do not use your content for advertising.

Your storage space depends on your plan. When it is full, your agents can no longer save new files: free up space or change plans. Keep a copy of your important files: the service is not an archiving tool.

8. Published websites

Websites built by a project agent are published at a futureagent.app/s/… address or on your own domain. You are their publisher: you add your own legal notice and take responsibility for their content. We act as a host and may remove manifestly unlawful content that is reported to us.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We make our best efforts to keep the service available at all times, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, an incident at a provider or force majeure. A run scheduled during an interruption may be delayed.

The service evolves: we may add, change or remove features, agent templates or connectors. If a change significantly reduces a paid service you are using, we will let you know and you may cancel at no cost.

10. Liability

We are responsible for providing the service in accordance with the Terms. We are not liable for damage resulting from use that does not comply with them, from content and decisions you derive from agent results without checking them, from third-party services, or from force majeure.

For business users, and to the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damage and capped at the amounts paid for the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

For consumers, these limits do not apply where the law prohibits them, in particular in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, personal injury, or breach of an essential obligation.

11. Suspension and closure

In the event of a breach of the Terms, a risk to the security of the service or of third parties, or non-payment, we may pause an agent, suspend a connection or block an account. Except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise, we inform you beforehand, give the reason and allow you to remedy the situation.

You can stop using the service at any time: pause your agents, cancel your subscription from the Billing page, then ask for your account to be deleted at [email protected].

12. Changes to the Terms

We may change the Terms to keep up with changes to the service or the law. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page. For a significant change, we notify you at least 30 days in advance by email or in the service; if you do not accept it, you may cancel before it takes effect.

13. Governing law and disputes

The Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware (United States). Before taking any action, write to us at [email protected]: we will seek an amicable solution within 30 days.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. You may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence or any other court with jurisdiction under the law.

For business users, any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Delaware.

14. Your rights as a consumer

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you benefit in particular from:

  • the 14-day right of withdrawal for a subscription taken out remotely, under the conditions described in the terms of sale;
  • the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services: a non-conforming service must be brought into conformity or, failing that, give rise to a price reduction or termination;
  • clear information on the price before any payment, and the ability to cancel a subscription online;
  • the rights over your personal data described in the privacy policy.

Nothing in the Terms limits the rights that mandatory law grants you.
