Copy a portfolio in simulation

You enter the allocation of a public portfolio you follow (for example the main holdings a fund has filed): the agent reproduces it on a paper portfolio at Alpaca, rebalances it, and every quarter checks the fund's new SEC filings to tell you what changed. Always in simulation: you update the allocation yourself.

What the agent does

On the 20th of the month after each quarter

  1. 1Reproduce. The allocation on the paper portfolio.
  2. 2Rebalance. When a holding drifts from its target.
  3. 3Compare. With the fund's latest filing.
  4. 4Report. Changes and simulated result.
